One year after announcing their engagement, the When Harry Met Sally actress and her musician fiancé have split.
The pair began dating long-distance in 2011, after Mellencamp ended his 18-year marriage to model Elaine Irwin. He continued to live in his home state of Indiana while Ryan lived in New York City, and the distance played a large part in their August 2014 split.
After reconciling in June 2017, the ultra-private couple eventually shared last November that they were engaged.
