After nearly 30 years of marriage, the former host of To Catch a Predator and his wife are divorcing. According to court records obtained by PEOPLE, his wife filed on June 5, 2018, claiming that “the marriage has broken down irretrievably.” She’s reportedly asking for alimony and “a fair division of property and debts.”
Hansen is undergoing some major life changes at the moment — in addition to the divorce, he was also evicted from his home in New York City on Jan. 18, and police confirmed to PEOPLE that he was arrested and charged a few days later on Jan. 21 for issuing bad check
