Fan Bingbing, the Chinese star who mysteriously disappeared from the public eye last year, split from her fiancé, actor Li Chen.
The actress confirmed the news on her Weibo page, which has been translated to English, on June 27.
“People’s life may experience various farewells,” Fan wrote. “The love and warmth that we have gained in our encounters are turned into eternal power. Thank you for all your giving, support and love. Thank you for your care and love in the future.”
She added, “We are no longer us, we are still us.”
Fan and Li announced their engagement in September 2017 after the actor proposed at her birthday party.
