This ride is over for Niemann and wife Petek: the couple divorced after 13 years together.
“After spending over a decade together, we have decided to move forward separately,” the couple — who wed four years ago — told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. “We have learned and grown into the people we are today. We wish each other all the best in the future.”
Niemann, 39, and Petek, 37, were married in Puerto Rico in October 2014. They had no children together.
Nash Country Daily reports that Petek, a nurse practitioner, filed in June of last year, with the divorce becoming final this past December.
