The two have offically split after less than a year of marriage.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” a rep for Cyrus told PEOPLE in a statement on August 10. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Hours before the couple confirmed their breakup, Cyrus was spotted kissing Brody Jenner’s ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter in Italy. A source told PEOPLE exclusively that Cyrus and Carter have mutual friends in common and are “just having fun” together.
Hemsworth and Cyrus dated for a decade before getting married on December 23, 2018 in Cyrus’ home state of Tennessee.
