If you are suffering from depression induced insomnia, you will need to make some changes to your lifestyle to get the proper amount of sleep.

Avoid Sleep Deprivation

Start following a sleeping routine and try to go to sleep at the same time every day and wake up at the same time as well. Also, avoid naps as they can disrupt your sleeping routine and remove all the distractions from your room when you are about to sleep.

According to doctors and experts, you should be getting at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep in every 24 hours and the best time to sleep is at night from 10 or 11 pm to 6 or 7 am. Following a healthy sleep schedule will keep your mind fresh and lower the hormones that induce depression.
