What we might call cheap, musician Ed Sheeran sees as an effort not to be “wasteful.” The singer has boasted about buying discount DVDs on Amazon, saying he’d rather spend time watching movies than lounge on the beach, and spends so little money most of the time that he doesn’t see the need for high-end credit cards. Officially named the UK’s richest musician under the age of 30 in 2020, Sheeran is also prudent regarding his investments, which include many properties that he rents out and later re-sells for a tidy profit.
