In May 2000, 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was shot multiple times while sitting in a vehicle beyond his grandma’s home in Queens, N.Y. He was raced to the medical clinic to treat him for discharge wounds to his legs, hip, arm, and face. The rapper was let out of the emergency clinic only fourteen days later.
He burned through 13 days in the medical clinic recuperating from the shooting, and proceeded to turn into a hotshot in the rap game.
