Zidane wants to keep BBC intact

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane seems happy with his current attacking options of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

With Los Blancos pursuing Monaco forward Kylian Mbappe, there will have to be some sales to make room for the youngster, but Zidane expects all three to remain for next season.

“Let’s hope that all of the members of the BBC to stay here,” he said.

“I want the BBC to stay put, it’s the same for all of the players who are here. That said, up until 31 August anything can happen.”

When asked about their pursuit of Mbappe, Zidane insisted that “you’d have to ask someone else about that”.

“We’re working on things and we’ll see what happens,” he insisted.

Madrid were recently beaten 4-1 by Manchester City in the International Champions Cup, and Zidane said they “didn’t have a bad game but it’s a bad result”.

“We’re still in the preparation stage, it’s the second game,” he said. “There’s no need to keep talking about what has happened, we lost and that’s that.”
