Porsche has entered the Guinness World Records for heaviest aircraft towed by a production car.
The German car manufacturer used two SUV models – the Cayenne S Diesel and Cayenne Turbo S – to accomplish the feat.
The Cayenne Turbo S, with 570 horsepower and 590 pounds/foot of torque, towed a 285-ton, 73-metre long Air France Airbus A380 for a record 42 metres. The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger aircraft in the world.
The feat was accomplished at Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris, France.
The Cayenne had driven from London to Paris and back again.
