Ivory Soap: “Shhh! Mom’s on the warpath!”
Nothing is more scary that a mom who is a bit on edge after a long day. At least, that’s the message Ivory Soap is trying to get across with its mid-century ad picturing a father and son hiding from a visibly angry mom.
Good thing a good soak in the tub with a “cake of new Ivory Soap” is there to ease the countless hours of household chores, screaming kids and impossible societal, parental and marital demands.
Ummm … not likely.
