Sure, Playboy is known for its images portraying women in awkward positions, but naked next to a pair of wing-tipped Pilgrim shoes? What the heck is that supposed to mean? Our guess is it stemmed from a strange shoe fetish that the advertiser had that he/she assumed the rest of the world shared.
Well, the joke’s on them, and it’s not funny, nor does it cause us to want to buy shoes.
