Manyisa has struggled to hit his best form in recent seasons and it appears a move to Chloorkop could be just the remedy needed to resurrect his fortunes.
Pirates’ boss Dr Irvin Khoza today confirmed the news that the attacking midfielder would be leaving the Sea Robbers for the Brazilians after close to a decade of sterling service.
Khoza told reporters at a press conference this afternoon, at an event in which Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic was also confirmed as new coach, “It is not an easy decision but in the best interest of the player. There are still a few details to finalize.
“Oupa Manyisa will be joining Sundowns. He has an unbelievable record with Pirates. Oupa Manyisa leaves to Sundowns as a highly decorated Orlando Pirates player.”
