Monama, 28, who started his career at Black Leopards, has vast experience within the South African top-flight, having featured for Lidoda Duvha, Mamelodi Sundowns, TUKS and Polokwane City.
After refusing to extend his stay with the Eagles in the National First Division, the midfielder spent the entire pre-season with Dikwena and has now convinced management he’s worthy of a contract.
“The club is very impressed with Monama. We are planning to sign. We don’t have any pressure,” club spokesperson Senzo Mazingiza told IOL.
“He is a free agent. He can sign anytime, but we will conclude everything next week.”
