Orlando Pirates have issued a message to hail the inspirational influence and massive contribution of chairman Dr Irvin Khoza in helping the side to remain a force in South African football.
Khoza turned 68 on 27 January and the club used the opportunity to recognise the impact he has made in turning the Sea Robbers into one of Mzansi’s most successful and biggest teams.
A statement on Bucs’ official website read: “In an industry which often celebrates its players, the timeline of this great institution Orlando Pirates, would not be complete without a significant mention of Dr Irvin Khoza.
“Sir, you are an inspiration to us all. The tireless work you continue to do for the club and football as a whole is exemplary. Time and time again, you continue to give more of yourself and the industry we operate in is better for it.
“On behalf of the whole Orlando Pirates family, we would like to wish you, a Happy Birthday. Let God decorate each golden ray of the sun reaching you with wishes of success, happiness and prosperity. We wish you everything of the best today and the years to come.”
