Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore has revealed he is frustrated with the small amount of game time he has been afforded this season.
The 27-year-old has only featured in 10 Ligue 1 games for manager Unai Emery’s side this campaign, but made a big impact when he came off the bench in the second half against Guingamp on Sunday.
The score was level at 0-0 after the first half, but three minutes after Pastore came on, Angel di Maria netted, and PSG went on to win 4-0.
“For sure I was a little irritated during the week because I wanted to play against Monaco,” Pastore told reporters after the game, according to ESPN. “However, they are the decisions of the coach and I accept them.
“We have spoken about it a lot. He has given me explanations and he has my confidence because of that. The important thing is that I am decisive whether I play 15 minutes or a lot more.”
