The Daily Star ran with a story that claimed Adams and former Chelsea executive Paul Smith were putting together a £200million takeover with a number of investors.
Parish has, however, completely squashed the idea thst the former England and Arsenal captain Adams is circling the club.
He posted a link to the original story on his Twitter account, where he wrote: “This story is not true, there are no deals in place or discussions to sell the club.
“I shook [Adams’] hand and [said] ‘hello’ once at an Arsenal game for 10 seconds, other than that I’ve never met him.”
He added: “No one has an option to buy the club, least of all Tony Adams and his mythical consortium.”
