The 23-year-old joined Chelsea from Standard Liege in 2012 but has not played an official game for the London side, having been loaned out to ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough, Kasimpasa and most recently, Turkish side Alanyaspor.
He did play in a weakened Chelsea team in a 1-1 draw against fourth-tier English outfit Crawley Town over the weekend.
His future in west London remains however uncertain, although the Super Eagles international was quick to pour cold water over Twitter talk that he was in the process of joining Wolves.
“Is it my own Kenneth Omeruo? Or someone else? No truth to it,” he tweeted in response to the rumour.
