Niasse: Teamwork is Hull’s strength

Hull City striker Oumar Niasse believes the team have done well to climb out of the relegation zone due to their excellent teamwork.

The Tigers remain embroiled in the battle against relegation, but have been moving in the right direction recently, winning three of their last four games.

Niasse, who scored in their most recent 4-2 win over Middlesbrough, has highlighted the team’s unity as their main strength.

“To stay in this league we know that we need to be together and fight as one,” said Niasse, according to the club’s official website.

“We have conceded the first goal in our last two games, but on both occasions we just kept going and had the belief in ourselves that our good play would bring something for us.

“We have been working as a unit and working well. We also have players just coming back from injury, training is getting better and better and now we have to make the next eight games our time.

“A few weeks ago, we said that we needed a lot of points because we were in the bottom three. Now we aren’t in the bottom three but we still need a lot of points and the fight goes on. We have created a good mood at our home ground and we are playing well.

“Now we have to focus on the next two games that are away from home and try to get some points out of them.”
