The Foxes signed the 24-year-old centre-back from relegated side Hull City for £17million in the recent transfer window and he has thus far impressed alongside Morgan in the heart of the defence.
The Englishman has started in all three of Leicester’s Premier League games and has already contributed with a goal and an assist, to the delight of Morgan.
“Looking at him at Hull, I always thought he was a good player, but he’s come across and he’s much better than I actually thought he was,” said Morgan, as quoted by the Leicester Mercury.
“When you play with someone you learn to see how good they are.
“He’s a young lad and he’s got a bright future ahead, so I’ve been very impressed so far and there’s a lot more to come.”
