Monaco know they have a job on their hands to keep hold of young star Kylian Mbappe.
The 18-year-old has been a sensation for the Ligue 1 champions this season, scoring 26 goals in 43 games in all competitions.
His form has naturally attracted the attentions of the world’s biggest club’s, but Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev says they will “do “everything they can” to keep Mbappe.
He said: “We will take stock after the season but it is our intention that he stays.
“We will do everything we can to keep him. It depends on the club but also the will of the player and I hope he will make the right choice to stay with us.
“I have not had discussions with any club because what the player wants is the priority.”
Mbappe, who scored alongside Valere Germain to hand Monaco a 2-0 win over Saint-Étienne and the Ligue 1 title, is the youngest player to reach 15 league goals in Europe’s top five leagues since Michael Owen achieved the feat in 1998.
