The Team of Choice has a priceless away goal to hold on to heading into the match in Pietermaritzburg, where they will be bidding to reach a major cup final for the first time.
They drew the first leg 1-1 in Atteridgeville and only need a scoreless draw to progress, but coach Fadlu Davids insists they need to be pragmatic about their approach.
“We can’t play for a goal 0-0 draw, because if they score then we have to win the game, so we have to be cautious and sensible about how we go about doing things,” he told reporters in the pre-match press conference. “They are a dangerous side, we have to remember that.
“So we’ll go into the game wisely and hopefull, we can get the result we need. It’s only half time at this stage, so there’s still a whole other half to play.”
The hosts have been dealt a blow on the eve of the game with news that Brian Onyango is out with a hamstring injury.
New Australian signing Liam Youlley and Mondli Dlamini are both out due to injury, while late transfer window recruit, Cameroon international, Yazid Atouba, still awaits his work permit.
For SuperSport, Jeremy Brockie returns after missing the first leg, while new Nigerian defender Azubuike Egwuekwe is also available after sorting out his visa issues.
