The All-Stars played the Spanish La Liga 2 outfit at Estadio Antequera in Malaga last Wednesday, and were handed a firm thrashing by four goals.
Nonetheless, both performers take the view that learning from the experience is key. Omoto told Standard Media, “It was a tough game. We saw first-hand the pressing, passing and tactical application in this game.
“It is the type of game I would like to face week-in, week-out and, definitely we shall learn a lot. I can’t wait to play Seville Atletico next because that’s how I will improve.”
Oburu added, “They were so quick and their passing was just superior all because they started at a very young age. Their movement on and off the ball was amazing and we could not keep up with them.”
The Kenyan Premier League representative side next face Seville Atletico as a part of the next match of their European tour. Like Cordoba, Seville also hail from Spain’s second tier.
