Ugandan club KCCA have confirmed the sale of left-back Joseph Ochaya to Zambian Super League side Lusaka Dynamos.
Ochaya is the reigning Uganda Premier League Player of the Year and KCCA’s Most Valuable Player.
He is set to play his final match for KCCA this weekend before making the move to Lusaka, where he will join up with countrymen Jimmy Bayega, Herman Wasswa and Isaac Isinde at Dynamos.
His Ugandan club have given him their full backing for the move as he is reportedly set to receive a monthly salary of $7000 in Zambia.
“We are glad that the deal finally went through and we wish Ochaya the best during his time in Zambia,” KCCA CEO David Tamale told the Daily Monitor.
“He will play for us against Sundowns here at Lugogo on Saturday (in the CAF Champions League) and then depart next week for his new club.”
