The 22-year-old former Zilina defender has been snapped up for a reported €20million as part of a deal that saw Gianluca Caprari join La Samp last month.
Skriniar has signed a five-year deal with I Nerazzurri and he follows Nicolo Zaniolo, Jens Odgaard and goalkeeper Daniele Padelli in having committed to the club.
Skriniar, was signed by Sampdoria after his impressive displays for Zilina and made 35 Serie A appearances last season- to make him the youngest defender to have played that many games in Italy’s top-flight.
He also started all three of his side’s matches at the European Under-21 Championship in Poland, with his displays earning him a place in the UEFA Team of the Tournament.
Inter welcomed the player with a brief message on their official website: “Welcome to Milan, Mr Skriniar! Best of luck at Inter!”
