Galatasaray say that no deal has been agreed to with Tottenham Hotspur over talented Portuguese winger Bruma.
Reports in the British and Turkish media claimed the 22-year-old former Sporting attacker was on his way to the English Premier League at the end of the season for around £12.5million.
But Galatasaray have revealed this not to be the case for the Guinea-Bissau-born Bruma, who has eight goals in 23 Super Lig appearances this season.
A statement on the official Galatasaray website read: “In this news that is not really interesting, there is no official offer to reach us, just as there is no secret agreement for the price [with] the club that has been named [Tottenham].”
The club also denied that Bruma was demanding a “100 per cent raise as a condition to sign a new contract with our club”.
Bruma’s current deal with the Turkish giants expires in June 2018.
