While the Eredivisie side lost 3-2 to their Italian counterparts, they did give their all in a thrilling encounter that could have gone either way.
Now ahead of facing Ligue 1 side Nice in their second Europa League group clash, Fraser has called for a high level of performance.
Speaking at his press conference, Fraser said; “The whole squad is present in Nice expect from Arnold Kruiswijk who has stayed behind in the Netherlands.
“The game against OGC Nice presents a new challenge with playing in a different atmosphere and a high level too playing in the Europa League.
“It’s important for us to bring the same level against OGC Nice than we did when we played Lazio.
“I honestly believe that Dutch football must first catch up with our European counterparts and then we can take steps to improve even further.
“To give an example the way that we Vitesse Arnhem played against Lazio was impressive and we must do the same against OGC Nice.”
