If you are looking to try out something new or perhaps just a reminder of an old activity and are not looking to spend much or any cash, then Iziko Museums of South Africa has just the answer in Museum Nights – for free tonight.
Iziko Museum and Thursday Projects bring Museum Night on April 20, 2017 from 17:00 to 22:00.
There will be free entry to three Iziko museums: the Iziko South African Museum, Iziko South African National Gallery and the Iziko Slave Lodge. Also forming part of the evening is the South African Jewish Museum, the District Six Museum, the Cape Town Holocaust Centre and the New Church Museum.
Museum Night aims to make institutions of culture more accessible to the general public, especially to locals.
So come along for a night of culture, music, food trucks and fun.
