Juscelino Kubitschek Bridge, Brazil
The steel-concrete bridge over Lake Paranoá in Brasília is also known as the President JK Bridge, named after former Brazil President Juscelino Kubitschek de Oliveira. The bridge comprises 200-foot (61 metre) tall asymmetrical steel arches that crisscross diagonally – a sight to behold – and links the eastern shore of the lake to the centre of the city.
