
The 28-year-old joins the Primera Division club on a three-year deal having last played for Eduardo Berizzo’s side in 2016.
A former Boca Juniors and Valencia player, he also spent time on loan with Atletico Madrid and Newell’s Old Boys before his first spell with Los Rojiblancos.
But while a deal has been agreed in principle, Banega still need to pass a medical.
A statement on the Sevilla website read: “Sevilla FC and Inter Milan have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ever Banega, providing that the player passes a medical and signs his contract upon arriving in Seville.”
Banega scored six goals in 20 league games last season.
