Bafana forward nets Champions League double

South African forward Dino Ndlovu got himself amongst the goals on Tuesday evening in the second round of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

The 27-year-old has been in scintillating form since moving to Azerbaijan Premier League champions Qarabag, notching 13 goals and two assists in his debut league-winning season.

And now as the new campaign approaches, Ndlovu bagged a brace in the 5-0 first-leg win against Georgia Umaglesi Liga champions Samtredia.

The Bafana Bafana international enjoyed a blistering first half by knocking home a close-range header and converting a penalty after being fouled in the area.

Ndlovu will be hoping his rich vein of form in Europe catches the eye of national-team head coach Stuart Baxter for future squad selections.
