Jennings ‘learned loads’ despite Test axe

Batsman Keaton Jennings says he “absolutely loved” his time playing Test cricket for England despite being dropped for the upcoming series against the West Indies.

The left-handed Jennings was latest opener to be axed from the England side after only scoring 127 runs in eight innings in the recent four-match series against South Africa at a paltry average of just more than 15.

However, the 25-year-old has described playing the longest format of the game as a privilege and will work hard on his technical flaws to get back in the England side.

The Chroniclelive website quoted Jennings as saying: “I haven’t not enjoyed the last three or four weeks.
